Spectrum Next Games

By Michael Cadwallader 14 Sep, 2019
It has been a while since there were any updates on the games front for the Next. Well Lampros Potamianos took a small break from coding Abductor in order to stretch his legs in the puzzle game arena. Here we have a classic Spectrum game of old, updated for the Next using all those wonderful new colours. See it here !

Imagination has run out however, and this game needs a name. Something original(ish). Any ideas?

Evgeniy Suhomlin and the team working on Power Blade: Delta's Shadow have been hard at work on the third aspect of the game. The story of Jacqueline. They have very kindly released a video which is linked to here! You can watch this new video and also the previous videos they have released.

Those folks over at Rusty Pixels have been a busy bunch. Treating us to such greats as Warhawkand Baggers in Space, but also their excellent conversation of the Arcade game, Scramble. I could mention Revival Survivaltoo!

For those of you who went to the Expo or Revival shows this year, you probably noticed an appearance from an old Spectrum friend in the form of Horace World Tour. It's about time this guy got some love again and I have updated the game page with a new video.

There hasn't been much developing on the game front recently, but I'm reaching out to get as many updates as I can!

Originally released on the MSX this year, and coded by Juan J. Martínez, David Saphier has ported this game to the Spectrum Next. You can have a look at it here.

Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th June marks the return of Revival!

This is the perfect opportunity to experience everything retro in the computer world. From 8 bits to 32 bits. From humble beginnings through arcade machines and of course, the ZX Spectrum Next will be making an appearance. Come and see it in the flesh, play the games ( Revival Survival anyone?) and ask questions, developers will be there too!

This site is unofficial and merely serves to list software titles that are available for the ZX Spectrum Next.
The Sinclair and ZX Spectrum brands are property of Sky BSB and the ZX Spectrum Next is a SpecNext Ltd product.
